Most people think they need the skills.

Years of thumbnail design. Scriptwriting. Editing. That is what stops most people from ever selling a YouTube service.

I have paid for all of it. Twelve thousand pounds on coaching and training. Editors. Thumbnail designers. Strategists. Meetups. That is what it cost me to learn what good looks like.

Then I built the tool that does the work, and the skills stopped mattering. You do not need to be able to design a thumbnail. You need to know a good one when you see it, and press a button.

A friend of mine charges $3,000 a month for thumbnails and titles. He is fully booked. That is two deliverables, one person, no team.

Title picked, format picked, three thumbnails generated with your face in them, A/B pair set. About thirty minutes per video, and that is the part clients pay for.

What is in it

Five stages, one screen each. Everything a production team does, done by one person with AI.

Research

Paste any video. It pulls the transcript, analyses the comments, and writes your premise and the one angle that beats it. Or pick from a feed of videos outperforming their channel right now.

Packaging

Eight A/B testable titles with live trending keywords. Thumbnails generated from a reference with your face in them. A homepage preview that puts your video next to real competitors before you commit.

Writing

Seven video formats, each with a planner and a beat sheet. Five spoken intros, one per hook style. A block by block script writer that reads the whole script back before it proposes the next line.

Coach

A chat that reads the open project and answers from the production method built in. Highlight any part of its answer and press Implement, it lands in the right field.

Editing and Publishing

Recording checklist, chapter timestamps, a publish checklist that tells you what is missing, and push title, tags, description and thumbnail straight to YouTube.

The source code

Not a login to my server. The whole Next.js app, yours. Rebrand it in six lines, change any prompt, add tools, deploy it as many times as you like.

Writing

Premise, script, format planner, intro. The script card tells you how far through the format you are in spoken minutes, so you always know how much is left.

Coach

Ask it why a title is weak, and it quotes the phrase, says why, and gives the fix. Ask it for an intro and you get the text, not a description of the text.

Publishing

Timestamps, checklist, tracking link, and a one click push to YouTube. Mark it done and the progress bar hits 100 for that video.

Three ways people make money with it

Pick one. The guides for all three are in the zip.

1

Run your own channel

What I do. Every video on my channel goes through Slate. Less time per video, better packaging, and a system that does not fall apart when you are tired.

2

Sell packaging

Titles and thumbnails for creators who are already earning and already tired. Three thumbnails and eight titles per video, 48 hour turnaround, a monthly retainer.

3

Run production for businesses

Agencies, coaches, founders who know they should be on YouTube and are not. You own the whole pipeline, they show up and talk. This is the retainer that lasts years.

Who this is for

You want a one person business you can run from a laptop. You have watched the make money online stuff and you know most of it is talk. You would rather own a tool that does real work for real clients than another course.

You do not need to code. If you can copy a file, paste a key, and follow a README, you can have Slate running today. The Claude API key is the only thing you need on day one.

You do not need a channel. Most of the money is in running this for other people, and the outreach method in the guides starts with a thumbnail you make for them before you ever say hello.

Pricing

One price. Everything is in it, including the right to sell it as a service to as many clients as you like.

FAQs

Is this really the same software you use?

Yes. Same code, same prompts, same tools. The only things removed are my own API keys, my face photos, and the links to my private accounts. You put in your own keys and your own name in the .env file and it writes for you instead of me.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You need to unzip a folder, paste an API key into a file, and run two commands from the README. Deploying it online is one more command. If you get stuck, reply to your receipt email.

What does it cost to run?

Hosting on Vercel is free. The AI calls go through your own Claude API key and you pay Anthropic directly, usually a few pounds a month for a working channel. Thumbnail generation uses Gemini, which has a free tier. There is nothing to pay me after today.

Can I use it for clients, or only my own channel?

Both, and there is no extra tier for it. The licence lets you deploy Slate for as many clients as you like, put their brand or yours on it, and charge whatever you want for the service you deliver with it. The two guides on selling and delivering the service are in the zip.

Can I resell the code itself?

No. You can run it as a service and deploy it for clients as much as you like. Selling the source code as a product, or passing on the licence, is the one thing it does not allow.

Do I get updates?

You get the version you download, forever, and it is fully working on its own. When I ship a meaningful update I will email everyone who bought it with a fresh download link.

Stop learning the skills. Own the tool.

Every video on my channel goes through this. From today, every video on yours can too, and every client you take on.
